Apples and Pear

The goals and intentions of this painting is use different greens to draw apples and pears. I mixed green with other colors to make different kind greens. This painting is about different colors. The most difficult challenge was that it was hard to make the exact color i see on apples and pear. It really worked on the front apple, the different color of green make it more realistic. I can use more colors on next painting. If I could do over, I will fix the color of pear.

Reflection on Black

The goals and intentions of this painting is drawing the reflected structure on black phone. I draw the reflected structure darker than the real one. My painting is about the black phone with light next to it. The most difficult challenge was the drawing number hole on the phone, because I couldn't draw detail with pallet knife. Painting really worked on the reflected lights. I learned how to use pallet knife. If I can do over, I'll put more color than this.

Reflected colors

The goals and intentions of this painting is draw reflected structure on the silver cup and white ceramic. I painted reflected structure lighter on white ceramic, and painted little darker on silver cup. My painting is about silver cup, blue ball, and white ceramic on different colored paper. The most difficult challenge I had was making the color for the silver cup, when I painting silver cup I couldn't get the same color I saw on the cup. My painting really work on the blue ball, the reflected red on the ball. I would draw cup more detail if I had to do over.

White on white

The goals and intentions of this painting is draw the reflected structure on white. The most difficult chanllenge was the drawing reflected things on silver water bottle, it was really hard to get same color. My painting really work on the silver ball, because I drew all the reflected color on it. If I had to do it over, I will draw more detail on the silver water bottle.

My goals and intentions in this artwork is drawing things that reflected in the ball. I didn't draw straight line in the reflected things in the ball, and didn't draw my face detail. This drawing is about lights and reflected structure in ornament. Most difficult challenge I faced is find out the lights. I learned that reflected structures in ball are not straight line. If I can do it again I will find out more lights. Best thing about my artwork is I drew my drawing as a background.

Fauve Portrait

 My goals and intentions in this art work is to draw dark and light in different color without using black. I used bright color to draw lights and used dark color to draw dark area. I didn't used black but mixed dark color to make it darker. My painting is about light and dark in different color. Most difficult challenge I had is that color didn't harmonize with each other, which make drawing awkward. I learned that warm color and cold color are hardly harmonizing together. The great mentor of drawing portrait could be Ban Gogh, he drew lots of his portrait without using black and lots of colors. If I could do over this project I won't use lots of cold color. The thing I did best in this project is I showed lights and dark.

This is Christmas tree I saw in New York. It is the biggest tree I have seen. I don't make Christmas tree in Korea often. I like this because It's the biggest Christmas tree I have seen and it is my first year to having Christmas in America.
